We develop custom hardware and firmware for narrowband power-line communication over existing electrical wiring, our core area of expertise. From modem hardware to complete PRIME and G3 communication stacks, our solutions have been validated in projects with DSOs and meter manufacturers.

AED8011 Calibration Pattern Generator

Calibration Pattern Generator (AED8011)

Challenge. Torsional-vibration test benches needed a traceable reference signal to stay calibrated.

Solution. A portable, high-precision pattern generator that replicates a metrology-grade rotary encoder signal.

Result. A field-usable calibration reference, developed jointly with the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA) for Schindler.

PLC channel characterisation

PLC Channel Characterisation System

Challenge. Assessing whether new NB-PLC communications were viable across the low-voltage grid required real data on noise and channel behaviour.

Solution. A network of measurement nodes, each with an integrated metrology chipset, that characterises the narrowband PLC channel across its full spectrum, capturing noise and transfer functions.

Result. Field evidence of channel response and the feasibility of new PLC communications, delivered with Iberdrola.
